Title: Musical Background

I have been checking up on Aquaria ever since I first heard about it on the IGF.com website and has now become one of my daily stops in the morning  :)

The Demo Poll post made me finally create an account so I figured I'd post a question while I have it.

I was just wondering what kind of musical background you have Alec?  Did you do much Music in school or are you self taught?

Sorry if this was in another post but I couldn't find anything through searching.

Thanks for the soon to be kick ass game.

In terms of musical background, my parents forced me to take piano lessons for 7+ years, I played tuba in junior/high school band for 6 and I sang in a couple choirs.  O0

Haha my parents forced me into taking trumpet for 6 years.  A few years into that I picked up a guitar.  In high School I played in a concert band and a Jazz band with my trumpet.  My last year of highschool, I picked up bass guitar for the Jazz band...and then just for kicks, I bought a Harmonica.

I am really anticipating the Aquaria ST so keep it up.


Anyone want to start an Aquaria Tribute band???

I'm looking for an experienced cow bell player to complete the sound!  10+ years experience only please...

I must admit to having the theme in the trailer stuck in my head for days upon days on end.  It's really catchy and does sound sea-ish(it's new adjective day).

I must thank your parents for getting you started in music. It's simply amazing.
