Title: help with sunken city (possible spoilers)

Ok so I'm in a room, which seems to be the final room before the final boss. And im with the ghostly boy. There are white glowing song notes on the wall in a strange formation. Now im usually pretty good with puzzles and ive made it this far in the game w/o help....but i can't figure it out and the anticipation of seeing the end is absolutely killing me. So if someone would kindly help me out that would be great. Thanks a lot.

And nope, you are not near the final boss. There is still a tough part to go through... ;)
