We miss Yu!!
Hope your artwork comes back in the form of a sequel!
-
Derek's leaving? :( Excuse my ignorance - I've been away for about six days. Where and for how long?
-
Who said he was leaving??? Chibi shame on you for assuming such things, I was merely stating that we're looking forward to seeing more if his amazing artwork animated into life like realism.
*pokes chibi*

Aiee! :) Sorry for the misunderstanding - I was just a little alarmed and out of the loop. Thanks! ;) Extends finger and slyly pokes Danger Mouse :P

-
No worries! :) How was your Christmas Chibi?
He needs to post more. And make another awesome game for me to play after I beat Aquaria again.
... pwetty pwease?
I definitely agree Quemaqua, I miss Derek being around, he hasn't said much of anything lately.
-
It is one of my sincerest hopes that such a game is in the cards. :) Pwetty pwease wit a cherry on top? ;D
-
There is a new game he made out to get tested by you. Check the TIGS-forums for "Spelunky". ;)
-
It doesn't even compare to the work of Aquaria, but it might be fun to play with.. I'll download it when I get home. Thanks for the info!
-
Oh I see he is ok you all got me a little worried there for a while, shame on you :o
Yes hurry back Derek you are really missed :)
-
There is a new game he made out to
I just read my post and I was a bit confused/amused because there was another meaning I hadn't noticed before.
So, Derek, if there is a game like that, tell us! :D
-
I just had a look at it and it does have that Derek touch to it, and it looks to be interesting let's say :D I'll give it a go as soon as possible and let you know what I think of it ;D
I have just seen a larger screen capture and it's very much a flash back to games like the boulder push games and I loved one in particular, it was called Repton anyone else remember it?

Spelunky is pretty awesome. Women count as loot and you can throw them at enemies to kill them (the enemies, not the women).... the women will then run away from you crying. It's golden.
-
Heyo! :D
Sorry, guys - I've been kept busy of late. Hope everyone had a great holidays... I can't believe it's 2009!
-
Hey man! Welcome back to the forums. Any enlightenment on the famous surprise? ;)
I know I'll still be writing "2008" on my papers for two months - happens every year. >:( ;)
-
2009 is hard to swallow. 2008 seems like it lasted about 10 minutes.
And yes, Spelunky is quite awesome.
-
I played it for a while but I was having problems, first remembering what each key was for even though I altered them to my own choice of keys that I should remember? And secondly it was one game too many for my system to run another game smoothly? As soon as I deleted it this other game worked fine? Aura Fate Of The Ages, anyone else know of it?
Sorry Derek I will download it again once I have solved AFOTH, and then I will also get back to finishing my present game of Aquaria also, And also finish building a web site :o :-[
-
Haha, good luck there Silver. ::)
And yes, do miss Derek. I'll be sure to try out your new game when its not 2:30am. :-X
Oh, and I miss 2008 already... It was such a nice year for me.. I sincerely hope 09 lives up to its predecessor. :-\
-
Derek: it awesome to see your presence is still around. ;)
Chibi: Don't worry about it, I always did that too with the writing previous years on everything that I had to date.
-
Haha, good luck there Silver. ::)
With which one, the game, building the website or managing to remember what each key is for :o lol
-
All 3 maybe?
-
