Quick question: have you tried using the 360 controller with a Mac? There's apparently a driver (http://tattiebogle.net/index.php/ProjectRoot/Xbox360Controller/OsxDriver) for it, which I assume hooks up to whatever the standard gamepad interface is for OS X.
This isn't a feature request (at least, not for 1.0) but I'm wondering if I should be considering getting the adaptor (and stealing a controller from a friend).

well, if the comp has a usb port it would be fine, totaly do it! the controller is a nice one (get the corded one, 7ft long and its 10USD cheaper).
-
The computer has a USB port, of course, and the existence of a driver suggests that the controller will work with the computer. But I don't know anything about gamepads on computers; support for them probably needs to be written into Aquaria. I was just wondering if it has been. Not a request, as I said, just curiosity.

Well, I did the silly thing, and shelled out the money for it. Hopefully support will be there, eventually if not immediately.

found one, try it on a emulator to see if it works: http://tattiebogle.net/index.php/ProjectRoot/Xbox360Controller/OsxDriver
emulators and roms (go for GB/GBC the analog works better with them):
http://www.emuasylum.com/ (roms here everything is technicly legal just dont go looking for anything past the 16bit age and it is.)
http://www.zophar.net/mac/gba.html
(i use visualboy it has a wide range of support.)
hope it works for ya :)

I linked to that driver in the first post. I've used it successfully with SNES9x, but that was with a D-pad and I don't want to use that for Aquaria.

anything that works on a d-pad works on analog (with the exception of the 16bit era of consoles for some reason >:().
