Title: Lil invention
Post by: Halo364 on December 16, 2008, 06:44:25 pm
Yeah, so, I was fooling around with photoshop trying to come up with a cool idea for an MP3 player. It turned out to be quite a bit harder than it sounds, and I actually had a lot of fun doing this.

It is called chrome, and it consists of two touch screens, one with all the menus and submenus, and one with the current song and song options. It doesn't really serve any purpose, just thought I'd throw it up here.  ;)

P.s. The quality of the image is really bad... I'll get a better one soon.
Edit: it lokes like the forum is re-sizing the image. That may be why the quality is bad.

Why no go? Touchscreens have advanced a lot: just look at multitouch. And cool idea, Halo.  :)

Yeah, I tend to like real buttons better, but stuff like the iPhone is cool too.

I'M LATE I KNOW.  But I'm gonna say something anyway.

Buttons allow me to feel my way through things without having to look at the screen to know what I'm doing.  This is a very real disadvantage of touchscreens.  While they make effective buttons you MUST look at the screen or else memorize exactly where all the buttons are.

Yes I prefer buttons I can feel also but so long as I can see I don't mind a few screen buttons now and then :)
