And there's a part that is all dark that i tried to swim through but i didn't succeded.

What can i do to get to the other part of the sun temple??

There's a stone floating in a holder at the upper-right of the temple. You need to find a way to get that stone to a different part of the temple, then it will allow you to get through the darkened part. Hopefully that will be enough; I don't want to spoil the solution.

Well to be a little less vague, you notice the murals in the room with that blue crystal?  How light shines on it?  Well that's what you need to do.  Don't forget, just because you have fancy new forms and abilities doen'st mean you should forget your old ones.

It's hard at first QueenOfBipolars, but once you stop look around and think it through it's not that hard and there is no outside wall jumping needed. But just think about all the obvious and not so obvious things you can do so far and look at the ways these abilities can be used in the Sun temple :)

It won't follow you unless there are no obstructions and once you jump out the water the air becomes an obstruction to it 2Maya, you need to (spoiler) alter the water levels by turning a cog, have you discovered anything else Naija can do besides swim in a straight line? ;D

Ya know, I've been in the sun temple for a while. I hope I'm not missing something really obvious, but I have risen the water level up with the cog at the base of that big room, however the water only rises so far.  Tried to turn it again and the water level drops. The rest of the cogs are not interactive. I know what I need to do with the stone but I can't seem to get the water level up high enough. Is there a cog in another room that I'm missing? Is there another way to interact with the cogs-the ones that don't light up when I scroll over them?
Sorry about the questions. I'm sure this is all getting very tired, but it's driving me crazy and I've explored the rest of the map as far as I can go.
Thanks for all you help.

You have to find a way to clear the path downward for the stone, then a way to trap the stone from moving back up when you have done so. After you do that several times, a path blocked by darkness is available. Try all the cogs, if that's not your problem, and check for gray sections if that too isn't. Good luck!  :)

p.s. bump

I need help.  I just entered the Sun Temple.  I can use my nature form & I get to the top of that dead end room-(top left).  But I'm on my Apple Power book here.  I have no idea how to move these gears to change the water level.  I love this game but can't proceed forward until I discover how to do this.  Any Mac users out there that can help??

The shortcut for rolling is R.

The shortcut for rolling is R.
Yes but don't forget that you also need to be pressing the left mouse button at the same time  :D

Um, no you don't. As long as you have the keyboard 'highlighted' (that is, press a few buttons so that the game knows you want to use it) you can just hold 'r' to roll without doing anything else. At least AFAIK.

That's a new feature of 1.1.1. - Silver is right if she's referring to 1.0.3

I dont like that you cant roll while moving anymore, but the ripple effects make it worth the while.

I noticed that too: despite the lack of control, it actually makes the game feel more smooth, or natural, somehow.

Ah, I just wondered if it really wasn't possible before because I thought I remembered spinrolling through the tunnels... :D

I was just happy that you don't lose keyboard control of Naija anymore if you mouse over the minimap.

That can be a bit of a headache if you use the mouse most of the time as I prefer to do, I prefer the free feel of the mouse to the keys and only resort to them if I want more precise positioning.

Hmm, looks like you can't spin and move using the keys in 1.1.1.. you used to be able to.

Is that like, removed functionalitiy? xD
Actually, I guess it makes it fair. Someone using the mouse can't spin and swim at the same time, so now the keyboard users can't either.

Ah.. I like this patch so much.. :)

It removes functionality, but adds form in my opinion. Naija in "real" life couldn't possibly have enough limbs or the dexterity to change direction while spinning head over tails - also, it seems smoother.

Aww... But I liked being able to just spin while swimming along if I wanted to use the keyboard, without any speed or control loss what-so-ever. xD

Who cares it's a game and not real life, but it's up to Derek and Alec any way and I might like it this way once I get it with the patch. :)
