You're working with the guy who's making Fez on an iPhone game where you battle diseases? Did you say that somewhere? 'Cus I didn't see it. I had to learn it from Kotaku. WHY AM I ALWAYS THE LAST TO KNOW!?
Freakout aside, that would be awesome news except I don't have an iPhone.

Awww...
I was just about to make a post on IA (http://infiniteammo.ca) about it.
-
Now you have got to get an I phone Glamador lol
-
Unfortunately I won't be concidering getting an itouch until a better imo service provider supports it. Verizon would be good, but the problem is they always lock their phones from any custom software that doesn't go through them. If it would work on an iphone, would it work on an itouch? I may concider that instead seeing as how iphone still is extremely expensive and isn't supported by other service providers.

I hate these companies that prevent users of other makes keeping in touch, it's one reasion why I also detest aol....

Oh, I SOOOO agree with you on that point. Makes it seem like these major businesses are such capitalists. But of course many of these companies are in the business of making money specifically for the money but not for the services they provide. That's what's so awesome about the Indie Community. It's about the games, and the gamers, not about the money. The money is only a means to make more games and support more gamers. :)

I actually don't really care about getting an iPhone. I already have a phone that works great as a phone. I ended up getting an iPod Touch, which is basically the same thing as an iPhone, but without the phone part... and I love it. :)

The iPod Touch, does it come with the camera function that the iPhone comes with? Looks like a pretty nice device. How much storage do they come with these days?
-
They're pricey in terms of storage. I just got the 8GB one, but that's plenty for what I use it for. I don't believe that there's a built-in camera.

Bummer, at the price ranges I've seen them at only $100 less that the iPhone I would've hoped it came with the really cool hi-res camera feature that the iPhone comes with. Yeah 8 gigs is pretty small concidering the media that it supports. I have a mini movie and mp3 player already called iRiver that is perfect for just about any use. Specially considering it's size, it makes it easier to work out and run with.
Does the iPod Touch have a memory card expansion? or is it all just on a harddisk base and not upgradeable?
-
Hey Danger Mouse: if you look on youtube, I'm sure you can find a hack to expand the memory. If you're not that radical :D you could wait until the next ipod touch comes along (coughhttp://news.cnet.com/8301-13579_3-10002574-37.html (http://news.cnet.com/8301-13579_3-10002574-37.html) ) (one example, but not ipod touch)

Hmm, I'm not a fan of iPod or iPod Nano. It's software imo sucks. My iRiver integrates perfectly with windows media player. The iPod Touch however does pique my interest with the slick design and interface, I've already seen it up close and personal, as well as the iPhone since one of my friends in Hawaii has one. He bought one when it came out at $800. Ouch. I would not pay that much for a phone! Even if it does have that many bells and whistles so to speak. It'd have to have some nice shiny diamonds in it to me worth that much for me. lol And I really don't care about jazzed up electronics with bling. The whole idea is pretty stupid to me. Then again everyone is entitled to their opinion, and fashion definitely is a popular thing these days. And of course so is individuality for custom modifications.

Sorry for the jibe, but it is spelled "pique," not peak. (Sticklers Unite!) ^-^

Unite indeed! I get all uppity when my AIM friends mispell unusual words like that.
Alas I have absolutely no need whatsoever for any i-products. I don't listen to music you see. And my phone has a tip calculator which is just amazing when you've got multiple people without the option for separate checks at a restaurant. No way I'm giving that up.

I don't have a cellphone (let alone an iPhone), but I love the smoothness of the internet interface on both the iPhone and the iPod Touch

I have a friend who is dislexic so I hold my tongue :D

Would you have rather I not said anything at all, with one word misspelled, seems kind of picky to be correcting ones grammar and spelling. Look at all the people on the forums from other countries that have misspelled words or used some extremely terrible grammar. You don't see me going around correcting everyone's mistakes. I just take it as it is and make sense of it. Usually I'll understand the meaning anyways so it really doesn't matter. But thanks anyways for pointing it out. It could have been that I was just tired. *shrug* Never-the-less, I fixed the post for you just to make you happy. Of course, I'm sure it didn't even matter.
-
Meh, I'm not asking to correct it. It's just fun to point things out when I notice them. Plus the people I know do this consistently.
-
Of course it didn't matter DM :-* Like he said he was just showing of his knowledge a bit tongue in cheek kind of :D

I say, "BLAH!" to that! :P

Sorry Dangermouse, It's a primal instinct. Sorry if I offended you ;)
