I want to know the alphabet of the aquaria. I mean that writing you find around Aquaria (specialy in mithalas city). I want to know which symbol represents each letter in the alphabet. The translation of the symbols and possible other signs that mean something.Actually any kind of cool symbols would be welcome in this thread. Anyone on that ?

There is another thread all about the Aquarian alphabet but one way to solve it yourself is to look at the start, mod and exit buttons, once you have those letters then solving it yourself is quite simple and fun if you like that kind of thing :)

I was going to pretty much say the same thing. I could easily post a graphic representation of the English alphabet and the appropriate symbols, but the tools are already available for you to find out what they are. Go to the Aquaria wiki page and check out the tiles. You will find a picture there with the the exact graphic representation that I'm talking about, and from there you can easily see which symbols are to the corresponding English letters. :)

*sigh* It's right here. Sfiera Wiki (http://aquaria.sfiera.net/wiki/List_of_GUI_Tiles) not Wikipedia Wiki (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aquaria_(video_game)). Sorry if there was some confusion.

Very Nice Robert. I had done the same thing before with the exception that I added some new symbols and text. I added ! and ? You'll see them in my mod once released. I was thinking of making some for 1 through 9 and 0 as well. I'll probably get to that another day/night though.

Nothing to worry about when playing Aquaria. Only needed some more symbols for the mod.

Why? You can get a lot of the alphabet just from the main menu and I don't see any plot spoilers.

Its actually a whole lot different now that i can read what those writings say on the walls :)

I don't think it spoils anything, IMO. If this game were to be distributed as a packaged bundle I'd actually hope to see it in the booklet, it would be pretty neat. I don't really see it ruining or spoiling the game at all. Just a little something extra translating as you go on through the game. :)

Yes I supose it easily accessed, but also solving the text could be considered as a part of the game by some. One of my favourite pastimes once was solving codewords, until I got seriously bored with it or I would of tried my hand at cracking Aquaria's text.

It's just as fun to do early in the game as it is near the end of the game or after the game. :)

But still, its fair if someone wanted to solve the alphabet in the game themselves then maybe the graphic should have a spoiler alert?
Lol, I remember finding the tileset in the wiki and going "wait, it was actually english all along?!" I hadn't even thought about trying to translate it really. =X

That also crossed my mind Hiro lol I did solve one or two after a certain thread made me realise that it was English but like I said I got bored with code cracking lol
