A belated congratulations, Cobar!  And a wonderful thread.  Today I was happy because I got to have lunch with my mom!  She's a cool lady and I haven't seen her much recently. O0

To answer the original question that the thread asks:  I get to go home today.  Wendryn (my wife) and I have been traveling for the last week.  We spent a couple of days in Phoenix with Wendryn's mother and grandmother (both wonderful people), then went to my parents' house in Holbrook to throw a "wedding celebration party."  Wendryn and I got married last November, but haven't actually had the chance to celebrate with family until this last week.  So, while the party was fun, we spent several days cooking and setting up, which was tiring.  I am now sitting in the airport in Phoenix, waiting to get on a plane to go home.  I cannot tell you how happy the prospect of going home and sleeping in my own bed makes me.  :)

I seem to have lost all my clean happiness somewhere in all these piles of unwashed stress.  I really need to do a load before this gets out of hand.

Just find some happiness that doesn't smell too bad and reuse it. It still feels good :P

Today is a potential happy day! If everything goes as expected, I might have done the last exam (but not the last work) of my academic life.  :)

I was really hungry today, but I opened the fridge and found some leftovers from eating out yesterday that I had forgotten about.

They tasted great. :)

That's what I'm talkin' about. I love leftovers. In fact, I feasted upon some wonderful cold barbecued sausages this very morning. :D
