Let me introduce myself first;
Hello, i'm Catt, i've been playing this amazing game for about a week, i completely feel in love with the graphics an i think this game rocks :P
But I've got a problem: i m stuck a the temple, I've already dicovered the energy form and eplored the whole place, the only exit is the place door where i entered at first, but it's locked!! :'( :'(
I cant destroy the door with energy, what shall i do now??
thanks 4 helpin me
PS: i'm sorry if my english sucks ;D
-
I guess that you mean the Energy Temple, does he keep singing? If so the sing those notes back and avoid the energy shots and eventually he will die and you will find a way out and a new form :D Good luck QueenOfBipolars, it took me a while to get it so you aren't on your own :D
-
I already destroyed the monster, and explored the whore energy temple, but i couldn't find an exit so i went back to the entrance of the temple, but it's locked. :-[
Thanks anyway :)
-
Oh I see, well that just means that you have got to explore the rest of the temple, just play around with energy form get used to using it and then search for the next boss in the Temple, but you need to find some pearls before you can get to him.
-
How can i find pearls?
Those are the ones which allow you to open the doors, arent they?
-
If you swim the oposite direction to the closed door you will find more to explore and you will find two pearls and 2 empty sockets, you neeed to work out how to get them and take tham back to the sockets.
But if you want to find out more read these threads

Thank you so much
-
Bit late for this sorry but good luck. Basicly the pearls that open doors are your next step. :)
-
Slightly disturbing ava...
There is a walkthrough in your Aquaria-directory for the first part (until you reach open waters).
-
Thanks!!!!
I've discovered the pearls and opened the 2 doors... but the boss smashed me against the floor :'(
i'll try again...
-
That's the spirit, I've been bouncing back against the final boss for days now and each time I learn a bit more on how to manage the foods and where to set myself etc. :D
-
i destroyed the boss yesterday, now i have reached to mithalas city.
Those things like human flesh and veins really gave me the creeps :-X
But tha is what make Aquaria a good game: the emotions you feel ;)
-
Yea they gave me the creeps also but the walls seem harmless, and that's great because there are enough poisonous creeps to watch out for without having the walls as a problem, that comes later :o :o so be fore warned ::)
-
Yeah, Mithalas was really well done in my opinion. The pulsating walls really were so creepy/disgusting I could feel like Naija did having to swim around in there..
-
Yes they gave you the feeling that if she were wearing a lose skirt then she would of gathered it up tight, creepy :o
-
I can never stop marvelling at Aquaria's great atmosphere. For more than an hour I thought it would just be a neat watery fantasy world, but then I reach the cathedral and my whole opinion changes. It's just so emotional.
-
yes, Derek did an amazing job (Alec don't be jealous :P)
-
Well it's not just Derek that makes the atmosphere so immersive. The music goes a long way towards giving the cathedral that creepy vibe.
-
I think the emotion is what really made me fall in love with the game. It has something the Metroid games also possess which I like to call "contextual emotion", where you end up feeling a lot of different things even when raw story development isn't happening. The world itself seems to tell you a story, or fill in gaps of a larger tale, but does so in a way that can move you even without being obvious.
-
I've just replayed the Cathedral beating those muli-eyed blobs yet again and it is just as scary the second time around even knowing that those deformed walls are safe doesn't make any difference I still want to avoid them so it's just got to be the music and the poisonous colours affecting us :D

I second that auspicious notion, my dear Silverflagon. (Translation: the Mithalas Cathedral scares the jbezus out of me.) 8O
