I'm stuck, and I'm going to multiple sections that have dark waters where I can see. I already have the missle form, fish form, and pink shark form. I imagine that there is some form from a boss to light the waters, but I can't find it or figure it out. I have also killed the huge jellyfish to get the jellyfish armor so that the little guys follow you and light the way a little bit, but I can't figure out what to do after that.
Help a poor soul, would you?

You need the sun form that is at the top of the Sun Temple, I'm trying to get there myself but with no luck so far so I'm not much help at all sorry :(

You got the jellyfish armor WITHOUT the form that lights the waters!? You just made the game so much easier for yourself by doing something insanely hard. You went south, the trick is to go north. Use your shark form to pass the current in the upper right of Open Waters. Or you can go to the Kelp Forest and get another form in it's northernmost part.

IThat made me stop and blink also Glamador lol I've started into the dark and chickened out fast :D
Ps I have the sun form now that wurm was crazy lol :D

wow, I stumbled through the abyss like my head was stuffed with seaweed and turtled my way out of there, but didn't fight A BOSS. there were rumours in the dark about intrepid fools like you when I was down there!!

Excuse me for sounding like a n0ob, but I nearly wet my pants in the Mithalas Cathedral, and don't want to think about the Abyss. You have my admiration.
By the way, does the dumbo octopus add anything more than the sun form does.? Sorry for not putting it in a new post (sorry Derek ((sheepish grin)) but it seemed too slow.

I'm assuming that you have and know what dumbo octopus does, acting as a nice bobbing proximity lamp. if you feed it the pet powerup soup, whatever one that was, it will make for a much bigger glow radius and that sure can help later on in the game :D it got to the point where I just had dumbo bobbing around me and no assault pets, he's that's useful.

Yes and if you eat one of the special recipies his light is made even brighter in a tight spot leaving you free to use energy form ;D

The Dumbo Octopus is, in general, weaker than the sun form. Dumbo will light the way in a radius, and maybe that's good if you have a hard fight on your hands, but I used a different strategy. I kept out my blaster peg and Li and ran around in sun form. As soon as I saw my minions fire in a direction I charged a sun blast, switched to energy and spammed like mad. It usually worked. I just don't like Dumbo that much.
