Title: Strong currents
Post by: chriko on May 12, 2008, 06:41:16 pm
Hi,
I have the Fish Song, Energy Form, Bind Song and Nature Form, but I'm really stuck in the game. There are everywhere strong currents or this nasty hot vulkanos where I can't pass. Can someone give me a small hint?
Cheers!

The "hot volcanos" are underwater geysers I believe, they are bypassed by a form that is optional.
The current however is bypassed by a form that is in a cathedral in the far east, if right you've seen a statue in the beginning of the open waters that was pointing towards that eastern part, go there.

I'm in Mithalas Cathedral. But there are 2 strong currents which I can't pass, there is a nasty current at the top which I can't pass and there is a passage blocked by a wall at the room with the three thrones. I tried to do something there, Energy Form didn't work...what can I do to open this passway?

you should go to the most down which is also going a little bit to the right passageway.
the one with the red walls which are looking like the inside of a body ...
the one with the green zombie frog piple and the green gas ...

anyway , there is a coin , shield , whatever thing in there - bind it - then bring it to the throne
room , put it in the middle thrones back , and sit on the throne .

it will open a passageway to the right which leads to ... well , youll find  that out
yourself (wont u?) ...

hope that helped ...  ;)

I've been reading threads rather than ask silly questions, but I must admit to being very puzzled by this 'optional form'? If it's needed to get past theses geysers and we do need to get by them for some things, then why is it optional and which form is it?

Well I hope it isn't a silly question Alphasoldier?

Don't go to Alphasoldier!  I help people too!  It's optional because you only need it for optional things.  Things like treasures and easter eggs  and such.  You do need it for one important thing, but it's an optional important thing.  It would really spoil too much to go into details.  The geysers just bar you from accessing these optional objects and scenes.  There's not much mystery to it, you have to get the form for getting past currents before you can even attempt to get to the optional form, so be patient, explore the rest of the cathedral, and enjoy the game.

Thank you Glamadour that was all I wanted to know and thank you for not telling me any more also because I am enjoying finding all the little surprises hidden around. I just got curious about this word 'optional' being used an asked Alphasoldier because he was the one who mentioned it. :D No favouritism I promise  :-*

pst! I'm old enough to be a Grandmother and I simply love the mix of fighting and exploring in this game lol
